If you have been at this for a couple of weeks and you haven't seen any checks, don't give up just yet. When I started doing paid surveys I didn't get a check for over two months. My wife kept telling me I was wasting my time, but I knew I could make money at this.
So many of the survey sites require a certain balance in your account before they send you a check. It can seem like an eternity before you reach that level and then you get a survey worth fifteen or twenty dollars and you're there.
Just don't get discouraged, you will make money if you keep at it.

How do I know what sites to join?
Knowing which paid survey sites to join can be tricky. I joined countless survey sites that ended up not even sending any surveys my way. A lot of them require participation in their affilliates offers in order to be rewarded. As I continue this blog I will add links to all of the free and pay-to-join survey sites that I make money with.
If you don't have antivirus and antispyware software you may want to get it. I ended up with spyware from somewhere and lost a ton of rewards because the spyware sends them to someone else. That was so discouraging to check my rewards and have none.

Paid e-mail sites
Paid e-mail sites are another way to make money online. It seems like it takes forever to reach the thirty dollar pay out, but all you have to do is click on a few e-mails. If you are checking your e-mail anyway, you might as well have a few of them that pay. Most of them pay about two cents per e-mail, but they also have other ways yo make money on their sites like games or surveys.
Getting started
Have you seen web sites that promise you tons of money for taking online surveys? Could they really be legit? The answer is almost. You can make some good money from these sites, I know because I do. How much can you make? That depends on how many survey sites you join and how many surveys you qualify for.
The easiest way to start making money fast is to join a paid site. The two that I find to be the best are Survey Storage, and Survey Scout. You can make money buy joining free sites, but you won't get as many surveys. If you are going to make a living at this ' you need to do as many surveys as possible.
Before you get to much further, you will need to open an e-mail account just for surveys. You will get an unbelievable number of e-mails once you start joining survey sites. I get close to 1000 a day now. Most of them are junk so I never even look in my spam folder anymore.
Many of the free paid survey sites ask you to complete offers to get your reward. These sites aren't really survey sites, just affilliate sites trying to sucker you. After you complete the offer you may get paid but you then have to deal with cancelling whatever service you just joined. Not worth it in my opinion. Some of the offers sound really good but I just don't go for those.
A lot of other sites have you fill in your personal information and then ask you to check the boxes of the other survey sites, or sites that have nothing to do with surveys, that you would like info on. Some of the good survey sites do this but they only list a few. I have been on some sites where you go through ten pages or more, checking no for all of them, and still get an e-mail from every one of them. I think it was one of those sites that ended up sending magazines to my house. I never get any surveys from those sites either. Just a big scam.
That's all for now
Thanks,
Steve
